Shawn Byram: Left wing who played 188 games for the Ice between 1988-94. The Islanders’ fourth-round pick in 1986, Byram played one game for the Ice in 1988-89, then returned to the team after being dealt to the Blackhawks in 1991, and played three full seasons for the Ice from 1991-94. He had 43 goals and 58 assists for the Ice, with a 23-goal season in 1993-94. He left Indy to play eight seasons in Europe, primarily in Britain (including a 70-goal, 190-point season in Manchester, England in 1995-96), before returning to North America in 2002-03 to play a full season for WCHL Bakersfield, in which he had 65 points. Byram also played five NHL games for the Islanders and Blackhawks between 1990 and 1992. A native of Neepawa, Manitoba, he is 49.

Evan Vossen: Indy Fuel forward in 2014-15. He was a defensive and penalty killing specialist who also played several games at defense when the Fuel were shorthanded. He had two goals and 12 assists in 40 games with the Fuel. Acquired in a midseason trade with the Missouri Mavericks in 2015, Vossen was a third-year pro with the Fuel. He is also a former four-year player at McGill University in Montreal. A native of Swift Current, Sask., he is 31.
