Ken Desjardine:  Racers defenseman in 1974-75. He had eight assists and 68 penalty minutes in 46 games. Desjardine played three full WHA seasons for Quebec and Indianapolis, and then played one game for the Calgary Cowboys in 1975-76. A native of Toronto, he is 70.

Kevin Beaton: Defenseman who played one game for the Checkers in 1983-84 and tallied seven penalty minutes. He turned professionally in 1983 after playing collegiately at Miami University and had 29 goals for IHL Toledo in 1983-84. He also played in the AHL and in Rochester. A native of Oshawa, Ont., he is 57.

Jay Sprague: Ice forward in 2005-06, where he had 17 goals and 16 assists in 56 games. He also had three goals and two assists in three postseason games that year. He went from the Ice to a four-year career at Michigan State University, and also played 58 games professionally for ECHL Kalamazoo and CHL Tulsa from 2010-12. A native of Georgetown, Ont., he is 31.

Cody Sharib: Indy Fuel forward from 2015-17. He had 17 goals and 16 assists in 69 games in 2015-16, and then played three games the following year before injuries cut short his season. A big power forward, Sharib was a top scorer for the Fuel as a rookie. A native of Needham, Mass., he is 27.
