Morden “Ducky” Skinner: Right wing for the Capitals during the 1944-45 season. He had eight goals and six assists in 54 games. He played senior hockey prior to WWII, and after his year with the Caps, played five seasons in the USHL and PCHL. He was the brother of Capitals captain (and later Red Wings coach/executive) Jimmy Skinner. He retired to his hometown and operated a restaurant. A native of Selkirk, Man., he was born in 1915. He is deceased.

Loren Barron: Ice defenseman in the 2008-09 season. He had three goals and 18 assists in 57 games that year, and also had seven points in 13 playoff games as the Ice won the Clark Cup championship. He took his talents from the Ice to a four-year career at Quinnipiac University, where he had 66 points in 158 games. He graduated in 2013 and played the 2013-14 season with the ECHL Evansville IceMen, with 18 points in 65 games. He primarily played in 2014-15 in Britain, then retired from hockey. His younger brother Alex also played for the Ice. They played one season together at Quinnipiac. A native of Glendora, Calif., he is 27.

Ryan Cole: Forward who played 10 games for the Ice in 2011-12. He had two goals and two assists. He played the 2012-13 season with NAHL Amarillo. A native of Anchorage, Alaska, he is 24.
