Fuel players on the move

The Indy Fuel will soon announce their first signings for 2017-18, but several players have signed deals for the upcoming season.

Of those from the Fuel protected list, end-of-season roster or saw time with the team in the AHL so far, one has re-signed with the organization.

Defenseman Robin Press has re-signed with the Rockford IceHogs. The 22-year-old blueliner had 10 points in 30 games with the Fuel last season, and also played nine games with Rockford.

Also, several players are on the move. Forward Kevin Lynch played the first part of the year in Indy, then signed an AHL deal with the Syracuse Crunch. Lynch has re-signed with Syracuse, the AHL’s Eastern Conference champion.

Forward Brady Ramsay, who left the team late in the year, has signed to play for the Sheffield Steelers in Britain. Forward Shawn Hulshof, who played for the Fuel briefly on an ATO, has signed to play for Gap in France.

Rockford has made one other signing, bringing in defender Darren Raddysh from the OHL’s Erie Otters.
