Indy Fuel netminder Eric Levine has been named the ECHL’s Goaltender of the Week.
Levine stopped 69 of the 72 shots he faced last weekend in two Fuel victories over the weekend. He backstopped a 4-1 win over Toledo on Friday night, then a 3-2 shootout win over Cincinnati on Sunday.
Levine becomes the third Fuel player to be honored by the ECHL. Goaltender Jake Hildebrand was named Goaltender of the Week and Alex Wideman Player of the Week earlier in the season.
The Fuel have three games remaining – starting with a 7 p.m. game tonight against Quad City at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum.
