November 29 in Indianapolis hockey history

1945: The Caps explode for a 9-4 win over the Buffalo Bisons. Rollie McLenahan scores the game-winner.

1949: The Capitals snap a 1-8-2 stretch with a 2-1 win at New Haven, sealed when Gerry Reid takes a drop pass from Fred Glover and beats Emile “The Cat” Francis with 3:45 left. Terry Sawchuk makes 35 saves in the win.

1950: Max McNab has three goals and an assist, but the Caps fall 8-5 in Buffalo. Enio Sclisizzi adds a goal and an assist.

1975: Nick Harbaruk’s two goals give the Racers a 3-2 win in New England, helping them raly from a 2-0 deficit. He scores the game-winner from Bob Sicinski at 15:21 of the third.

2002: Shawn Silver posts the first of his CHL Ice team-record six shutouts in 2002-03, making 33 saves to blank Memphis 3-0. Bernie John tallies the game-winner.
