The Indy Fuel announced a two-game preseason schedule for the upcoming 2015-16 season.
On Sunday, Oct. 11, the Fuel will host the Quad City Mallards for the second annual “Fuel Family Fun Day” at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum. The puck will drop at 3:05 p.m. for the Fuel’s final tune-up for the 2015-16 season. It will be the first meeting between the two franchises, both second-year members of the ECHL, but there will be several more during the regular season, as the two will be in the same division.
The Mallards will return to the Coliseum for the first of 10 regular-season meetings between the two teams on Nov. 7.
On Wednesday, Oct. 7, the Fuel will play Fort Wayne at 6 p.m. in a contest that will be closed to the general public.
They will be the two games of the team’s training camp, leading to the Oct. 16 opener against the Toledo Walleye. The full 2015-16 schedule is here.
